Blue Lion, Gray's Inn Road
FancyaPint?'s review...
Having eschewed the odd country look a while ago, this is a decent and still fairly down-to-earth watering hole in the middle of legal town. That said, the decor is modern, if firmly in the comfy sofa zone, with a large island bar dominating proceedings, while an area at the back offers a pool table and TV screen. Service is good, despite the throng of after work drinkers two deep at the bar and the choice of food and drink was good enough to cater for most people. We suppose it isn't the sort of place to go out of your way for (there are plenty of excellent pubs nearby for that) but if you happen to be passing or work in the area, it makes for a respectable choice. Oh, and there's a selection of three guest ales on the taps.

Local to where i live - its a good quality pub with a decent range of Bitter and Lager - i do find that the bar staff are not as alert as they should be..The design of the bar might have something to do with it as all customers are never in view especially if there was only one server.
Their menu looks good, a bit over priced maybe....
