Although the first thing we heard, on visiting this place, was some bloke calling some other bloke a c..., our subsequent impressions were somewhat more positive. It's quite a cosy place, especially the back room, where we were able to brush up on our knowledge of the colours of the GAA teams of each county of Ireland. Although we didn't partake, some remarkably reasonably priced bar snacks were available, while the drinks were those that you'd reasonably expect in a locals' Irish pub in this part of London. First impressions notwithstanding, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly.

How to find the Brent Tavern pub

Cricklewood: turn left out of the station and, then at the main junction ahead, turn right along the High Road. Keep walking for another 10 minutes or so until you find the pub on your left.Otherwise, probably your best bet to get here is to take either the 266 bus from Willesden Green tube or the 316 from Kilburn or Neasden.
