All boarded up and things not looking great for this one. We regularly go past it so we'll let you know if there's any change.

I always liked the Brewery Tap but right now it's closed and boarded up. Basically Enterprise Inns applied for planning permission to convert the landlords accommodation into flats and turn the pub into a lock-up bar. Despite protests Merton Council waved it through.

Within weeks Enterprise had sold it, shut the place down and now it's on the market. Most likelihood is that it will end up as a shop or restaurant. Tragic waste of a pub that's been open for just short of 180 years.

A few weeks later Enterprise had sold the pub and it's now been stripped of its fittings and boarded up
