This place isn't sure if it wants to be a pub, a bar or a restaurant but it seems to do a reasonable job of all three. Starting out a few years ago as a small shop conversion bar, within a few years it had expanded into the adjacent shops and has done a good job of looking like its always been that way. There are good lagers (and Guinness, as would be expected for NW6) on tap, a real fireplace and usually a variety of projections beamed onto the walls. The atmosphere is reasonable, the décor quirky (the chairs which look like hands are deceptively comfortable) and food available if the mood so takes you. Overall, it's a good place for a drink, but if you hanker after a real boozer, visit its next door neighbour.

Great boozer. Gets crazy on Friday and Saturday nights, with a DJ and booze flowing freely. In the afternoons and on weeknights, it's lovely and lively and gets drenched in sunshine. Nicely priced, close to transport. Top marks.

How to find the Brondes Age pub

From Kilburn tube: walk out onto the main road and turn right (so the petrol station is on your right). The pub is on your left after the traffic lights, before the bridge with "Brondesbury" on it.
