Dead, now a clubWhile the Redback over near Acton tube caters for Antipodeans looking for beery fun and frolics, over on the other side of town the Captain Cook caters for those after something a little harder - musically, that is. With the benefit of a late licence and club at the back this place has been known for a long time as a place to come a various times for techno, trance, hi-NRG and various other music genres which may have passed some of our readers by. As you might guess, the decor is not much to get excited about but there's a lively, usually good natured crowd. Probably not a place for a quiet pint on a Monday, if you're into the dance scene and live in Acton then your Saturday night is sorted.
