We visited this tiny Brazillian-style bar in Shoreditch on the recommendation of a friend and we weren't disappointed. Located in the warren of streets between Great Eastern Street and City Road you could easily walk past this place without spotting it, or presuming it was the back entrance to somewhere larger. It's also located opposite The Griffin which may cause some potential customers to head there, but what a treat they'll miss. We were welcomed by the extra friendly barman and noticed one pump serving Sagres, hence why we felt it safe to give it the nod to Fancyapint followers. But the main draw for this place is its great cocktails, perfect at any time of day in our opinion. Get in there for the caipirinhas, Manhattans and even one containing a drop or two from a £40 bottle of Canadian maple syrup. We felt that there was nothing pretentious about this place, just a great friendly bar. We'll be back!

How to find the Casita pub

From Old Street head down City Road towards Moorgate, take the first left and walk down Leonard Street until you almost reach the junction with Ravey Street (great name) nearly at the end. The bar is on the right opposite the Griffin pub.
