Part of the Davy's winebar chain, this is a wine bar first and foremost, but they do have beer in bottles for those who aren't appreciative of the grape. There's only one ale, Whitstable Bay, in 500ml bottles which gets poured into a pint glass, so while you're not spoiled for choice, you can still get a pint. There's also three lagers, Corona, Budvar and Asahi should you feel so inclined. The wine list is fairly extensive, as is to be expected, but it won't break the bank unless you are inclined to splash out. It's not a bad place to meet, being practically around the corner from Oxford Circus and the tube. It's a little more upmarket than your average pub, and not a bad place to take clients, the nooks and crannies making getting away from the rest of the pub achievable, assuming you can nab one. There's finger food in the bar and a separate dining area if you want something more formal. You could do a lot worse in this part of town and as long as you're not holding out for hand pumps and real ale, it's perfectly acceptable.
