Good, solid, traditional boozer. Plenty of regulars and an easygoing jolly atmosphere, consequently the odd influx of shoppers/tourists doesn't spoil it. An average range of drink and a comprehensive range of food is on offer, at pretty reasonable prices for the area - especially when compared to Covent Garden, not so far away. It does traditional Sunday Roast and all the trimmings, and judging by the number of people tucking into it, it's pretty good.

Just not very interesting or cool. The other Coach and Horses has the edge because its famous, even though the people are just awful.

aka the Bad Coach and Horses, as distinguished from the Good (or at least OK) Coach and Horses on Greek Street.

The beer was as warm as a child's blanket and, as noted above, come closing time the staff are more passive-agressive than my mother at Christmas lunch.

I would not drink here again even if the alternative was a beating.

What a terrible evening. The bar staff seemed to confuse the pub they were working in with an awkward dinner party at their own house, to which we were uninvited guests. The 'last orders' bell chimed at 9.45pm, and 5 minutes later we were plunged into inky blackness as they decided they could not stand one more minute of our company. I shan't be returning, though I suspect that nothing would please the staff more than an empty cavern where drinkers once sat.
