Crown, Grove Park
FancyaPint?'s review...
This handsome building was built in 1876 on the grounds of an earlier pub (with Young's assuming control in 1896) so you'd expect it to be well-run, and it is. A good range of beer and food is on offer, and there was a good atmosphere to the place on our visit. A real fire and comfortable seating also helped matters. The Crown is out of the way but comes recommended for those in the area.
