Sister pub to the Atlas (which is beside Earl's Court), the Cumberland Arms offers one of your best bets for a drink near to Olympia. Like its sibling, the Cumberland is a sensitive gastro conversion - an oxymoron to some, but here's a place that welcomes diners as much as drinkers - it still feels like a pub! Sure, they're proud of their Mediterranean menu here, but the length and variety of the wine list and the decent quality of the beers is a balance not all foodie pubs strike. The service was also friendly and the overall feel of the place was one almost custom built for a leisurely lunch. A very pleasant pub, particularly given its closeness to the rather characterless Hammersmith Road.

Attractive local with friendly staff and service. and a very good range of wines and real ales. Solid wooden furniture, nothing flashy.
