Duke of York, Victoria
FancyaPint?'s review...
Perhaps it was our shocking experience in the nearby Elusive Camel, but this pub felt like an oasis in the desert. Sure, it's nothing special. You wouldn't take a trip to Victoria to go here, but if you find yourself in the area and in need of an ale, you could do worse (much worse). It is a relatively standard, unpretentious Taylor Walker pub, with four beers on hand pump, a decent mix of tourists, commuters and after work drinkers, and a uniform food menu. A bit of Halloween decoration didn't go amiss either.
