Dylan's, Lewisham
FancyaPint?'s review...
Expectations are raised by the pub sign: on one side Bob Dylan and on the reverse, Dylan Thomas. What awaits inside? A recreation of the pub from 'Under Milk Wood'? Or a music joint with wall-to-wall Zimmerman on the jukebox? Unfortunately, neither. It's really a narrow little bar of an Irish hue with a few framed photos of Bob to carry on the Dylan theme. Not a bad stop off point on the swollen lung of Lewisham High Street, though it's probably more 'Self-Portrait' than 'Blonde on Blonde'. Only the most devoted Dylan obsessives are likely to join the locals here.
