Fitting in well amongst Lordship Lane's increasing number of trendy eateries, this is an old boozer given a 90s makeover (note the purple exterior). Not many pubs that get the stripped out treatment have as stunning a tiled floor as this one though. Once a venue on the London comedy circuit, now a loungey pub with a restaurant upstairs. Plenty of room downstairs for a relaxed drink. If you've ever been to The Bedford in Balham and liked it, then give this one a look too.

Need to correct this a bit - 2 pints is what a lot of the dive boozers seem to get and this is a much better place than that.
Had many a nice time in here, good drinks and food and a friendly eclectic crowd. Can get busy weekend nights, but I've
never known them struggle to cope or waited long to be served. What's not to like! 4 pints from me to redress the balance.
