Are any pubs in Knightsbridge easy to find ? For this one you even have to climb through a gap in a wall. Anyway, the Ennismore is a smallish pub, but with a TV, jukebox and roaring fire in winter. OK food and beer, better ambience than the nearby Tea Clipper, but if you've made the effort to go to Knightsbridge, there are better pubs nearby.

I was, with my ex-wife, Manager and Licencee of this pub for GrandMet, Chef and Brewer Pubs, 1992. I found the Pub sign from just after WW2 and hung it above the fireplace myself. Rawlplugs and two three inch hooks bought from a bizarre ironmonger in Shepherd's Market.
Had lovely customers, an eclectic clientelle including streetsweepers, students and lecturers from University College London, members of the Holy Trinity, Brompton, Russian Orthodox Church snd locals includibg Charles Gray, one Blofeldt in at least one Bond movie.
We increased trade by doing basics well. Dp sad to hear it's gone as it was part of the community. Went regularly through the "hole in the wall" to the Tea Clipper for "tea breaks". Also heard the last Harrods bomb, the one in the bin outside, go off.
