Feeling distinctly local and pretty empty when we were in last, the Fox & Hounds had a refurbishment a while back which still shows. Attached to a nearby council block in this otherwise Victorian area, it seems to have struggled of late and the lack of any real ale on the pumps suggests they've given up on real ale. To be honest, with the Old Parr's Head nearby, it's difficult to work out exactly why we'd want to go here as there's not a lot to recommend it to us - it just left us a bit cold.

Under new management, and its 2008 the greyhound is no longer on the loose, the old men are still shouting but from afar, sadly we had to part company as lovable as they were. for cute foxes and happy hounds(NOT GREYHOUNDS) good home cooked food, bright and spacious bar with live sports, karaoke and DJs at the wk ends give us a try.

How to find the Fox & Hounds pub

Come out of Hammersmith tube and turn right up Shepherd's Bush Road. Turn down Blythe Road (about the fourth or fifth turning on the right). Follow the road as it winds round toward the Old Parr's Head pub, walk past that pub and keep going. The fox and hounds is another few minutes away on your right hand side.
