Fox's is an Irish bar that's far enough away from most things that it's firmly a local's place. They don't mind strangers, but everyone knows everyone else and they seem to like it that way. The Guinness is very pleasant, although if you're thirsty for real ale, you'll have to make do with bottled versions. It feels like a pub out in the country rather than a town pub in a lot of ways, and the promise of free food on the bar Sundays only one of the things instilling that feeling. There's tellies spread about, for showing various sports as well as racing, a pool table and a dart board, even a decent beer garden out the back. We're quite intrigued by the signs scheduling 'Rock and Roll Bingo' on a Sunday - we'll have to get back and see what it entails.
