Freemason's Arms, Covent Garden
FancyaPint?'s review...
This is one of the better Covent Garden pubs, it bears up to the strain of office worker and tourist crowds quite well. A recent lick of paint has brightened the place up, but not affected it in any other way. It's not worth making a special journey to visit it, but it's a useful meeting place if you're in the area. Standard Shepherd Neame fare served pleasantly and promptly. If you sit in the back you'll notice a good few historic footy photos around the wall and a sign proclaiming "The Football Association was founded here in 1863". Given this heritage, no surprises to find this pub has many a screen to follow the match on.
