Once a Firkin, then The George, this one's now been relaunched as the Garden House. The interior is a bit more loungey than in its previous incarnations, but on the evidence of our visit, this one's still attracting the same crowd as before. It covers the basics if you're after a decent enough local pub, but it's a bit of a stroll if you're heading down from Tooting Broadway tube. The food and drink on offer was free of gastro pretence and there's plenty of space in this one if you're with a big group. However, the overall impression was of a pub still looking for a clientele. Early days still for this one, so we'll pop back when we can.
