After a hard day's slaying of mythical beasts there can't be any better way to relax than with a nice pint and The George & Dragon, within a stone's throw of Great Portland Street and Warren Street, is certainly a good spot to do so. If decent beers are your thing it'll be of particular interest, with three ale options available on our last visit. Several years ago there used to be more comfy chairs, which were replaced by standard wooden seats, but there's enough plants and ornaments adorning the sills of the large windows to add some character. The pub can fill up quickly due to its location and compact size, but is quieter outside the lunchtime or after work peak. Food is available lunchtimes and evenings (except Friday evenings) and seems reasonably priced, although we are yet to try it.
