The Gloucester Arms isn't going to set the world on fire, but it is a solid if unexciting place to go. A rather average pub when all's said and done, and probably making its money on tourists that don't come back.

Great location, simple, efficient, no-frills east-european service. Saw the Eng-Bulg game there on a Fri night, enquired if they could put the commentary on instead of the bland background music, was told "there's a large group talking, who are not watching the football, so we can't"??????? Bizarre, the national football team playing on a Fri night, it's on all the t.v.'s and they have no commentary because a group from the Dutch Embassy want a conversation, some nibbles and a quiet drink, just don't get it! C'mon we're in ENGLAND guys!
