Cheap white emulsion painted walls, empty echoing interior, brilliantly harsh lighting, numerous name changes and an air of desperation. Yes, the clues are there telling the avid pubgoer that this is a rather run down Victorian pub which one can't help feel a bit sorry for. Not sorry enough to give it regular patronage however, as its pretty depressing to drink here. The service is fine, but the beer selection is rubbish and locals we're encountered aren't particularly friendly. One for the less discerning Edmonton locals. Very nearly a zero pinter.
