Very large pub in busy, central Ilford. Pretty good food and the beer is reasonably kept. Cheap beer and drink brings in a slightly dodgy clientele and OAPs, but otherwise it's reasonable. Gets busy at lunch commuting times and weekend evenings (try heaving), but it has a beer garden at the back for nice weather. Worth a look if you don't fancy chancing one of the other locals.
