Greyhound Hotel, Carshalton
FancyaPint?'s review...
An exceeding picturesque old coaching inn, next to the village church and opposite the duck pond. It's the sort of place you imagine only exists in the minds of English Tourist Board Officials. Undeniably handsome to look at but we're not too convinced of it's merits as a pub. The usual Young's professionalism is on hand but it just feels ever so slightly bland. Perhaps it's large size dissipates a warm pubby atmosphere. Probably more suited to the family market than anything else - though with a busy road outside you wouldn't want to let little Johnny out of your sight.
