Ham Brewery Tap, Ham
FancyaPint?'s review...
This one's changed hands of late and has improved since we last looked in. Once, given the proximity of the dartboard to the toilet door, visiting the gents was akin to running the gauntlet. Now, the dartboard has gone, replaced by a blackboard menu. Although the pool table and TVs have also been dispensed with, this one isn't a swanky gastro makeover, just a pub trying to put more emphasis on its food (they even have a special menu for Monday's quiz night). Fair play to the owners for trying to make the most of this one, and whilst the service at the bar (and the quality of the beer) is a step up from what it was before, the clientele of this one still mark it out as a pub to tread warily in.

How to find the Ham Brewery Tap pub
The nearest train station is Richmond, but as Ham is a good 25-30 minute walk from there it's hardly close. Your best bet is probably to head to the river from Richmond tube then head left along the riverside or Petersham Road. Once in Ham you'd best get the A-Z out.
