Hammersmith Ram, Hammersmith
FancyaPint?'s review...
As far as recently refurbished Young's pubs go, this is one is of the best we've visited; as far as high street pubs are concerned, the Hammersmith Ram - dare we say - is "baa"rvellous! Hammersmith station surroundings are filled with pubs of varying quality and the Ram is certainly one of the best. It looks and acts as a good old public house. It has wooden floors, wooden bar, glassed panels, exposed beams, a few comfy sofas, a small heated patio and plants scattered around. Plenty is on offer behind the bar too; a large selection of world-wide wines and well-kept beers (four ales including various Young's and usually a guest, sit alongside many lagers such as Red Stripe or Amstel). You will also find a well-cooked and well-price menu and efficient service. If you're after more entertainment then you can try the quiz on Tuesdays, join the 'Jam at the Ram' on Wednesdays (Jazz sessions) and Sundays (Irish Folk) or just get a board game whilst listening to some fine tunes. Or maybe you'll even have a friendly chat with the manager, who - no doubts - knows how to laugh with the locals as well as welcoming new faces to the place. If you are in the area and not willing to roam the back streets, then definitely pay the Ram a visit.

Those of a certain age will remember The Builders which was decorated out of existence to create The Hammersmith Ram
After a fairly appalling start, the pub seems to have settled into a shambolic rut where there often arent enough barstaff and theres often no Youngs beers available.
That being said, at this end of King Street theres nowhere any good so this is about the best of a bad bunch
