Hand & Racquet, Piccadilly
our final review

No prizes for guessing what kind of sporting implement festoons the walls of this pub and that, I'm afraid, is about as interesting as this pub gets. It's a nice little old Victorian building but it looks like it needs a bit of TLC and life injecting into it. It's rather pokey, but it's quite handy for meeting in if your up west. Directors and Courage Best are available on the hand pumps and the other fayre is also pretty average. (not open on Sundays)
Closed and desolate.

Leave the station and head in to Leicester Square, head towards the south west corner (by the Odeon West End) and leave the square via Panton Street. Turn left into Whitcomb Street and you'll see the pub ahead of you on your left.
