Rather larger than it looks from the outside, this one's had a bit of a makeover and gone upmarket. It doesn't have quite the range of drink it used to have - John Smith's or Guinness for the beer drinkers - and the menu's gone a bit further gastro than the just sausage sandwiches, although they promise a speciality sausage menu. It's probably best known as a gathering place for the smartly attired gentlemen who attend the large building across the road, so no gags about funny handshakes and rolled up trouser legs...

Used to be one of the best in London city centre. But....in recent years has been driven into the ground by crap clientel and shite management welcomed by the owners. Badly needs decorating. The Masons should rise and go elsewhere.
