Soon to be a clothes shop. We'll miss the old place - the pub equivalent of a teddy bear in a Beefeater costume.

Just loved to come at the "Hog in the Pound". So sorry to hear, that it is closing down and turns into a shop.

Agree, it's a dump but paradoxically had a decent pint in there once. Still, useful for a loo-stop when pressed. Reminded me of a Weatherspoons in clientel: low-lives and bemused tourists.

Agree with Droogie 'Miserable drinking experience' and the food experience even worse, did'nt get what was ordered and when NICELY said that our order was wrong i was shocked by the terrible attitude of the staff. Customer sevice in this place is appalling.

Would never drink or eat in this pub again and recommend that if you do fancy a drink or bite to eat you find another pub. Like Droogie said it's only good for a quick pee if needed.

Check out other sites also cause alot of people have complained about this pub.

Having been at many pubs around Oxford Street/Bond Street, I would ahve to say that this pub is one of the better in the area! The food is pretty good, the staff are really friendly and they have a good range of beers. There's a large outside area for any smokers, and the downstairs bar is really nice to just relax after a days shopping! Good for keeping the stress levels down!

This place makes for a miserable drinking experience, but it always being busy and crowded due to crowds of tourists does make it an excellent place to sneak in and use the loo without buying a drink if you ever get caught short in the West End.
