A Young's pub like you've probably not imagined, this one had the makeover not too long ago and appears popular with the young things from the area. Popular for live sport, it even sponsors a local cricket club, the Flashmen and appears to show all the major sporting events. There's a limited beer choice, reflecting the surrounding area, we think, and what there is represents the Wells Youngs stable. Not one we're rushing back to, but hey, it does what its punters want.

Wonderfully tasteful and stylish decor,a good pint of Youngs and courteous, friendly and efficient service. Lunch was delicious.

A lovely pub and a wonderful place to while away a few hours on a weekday afternoon.
