Hyde Arms, Edmonton
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Hyde Arms is a local local's pub, sat in the hinterland of Edmonton and surrounded by a mix of social housing and former social housing. The road in which it sits looks depressing at any time of the day, in any weather and the Hyde itself isn't much better. Despite the largely captive audience, it seems like most people in these parts prefer to stay home and watch Sky TV. It's all as gloomy as it sounds and we can't really recommend it here.

I was pleasently suprised when i first entered this pub one friday evening although it looked rather gloomy and unwelcoming on the outside, inside it was buzzing with atmosphere the locals were loud but friendly and what was originally meant to be a quick drink before going out for a meal turned into a fall blown session. Friendly staff, Entertainment, Pool table and fair prices. Only downfall was the headache in the morning. Will definately be going again.

The Hyde Arms is a brilliant family house, there is lots of entertainment during the weekends, an excellent beer selection, friendly and polite staff. I highly recommend attending this venue!!
