Now, we know Wetherspoon pubs get a lot of stick on our site and elsewhere - but that's generally not down to the pub, more often than not it's the clientele they attract. Wetherspoon pubs get a lot of things right: decent staff (and well-trained), regular guest ales at a price that doesn't break the bank, inexpensive and generally tasty food, and the pubs are usually well-maintained. This one's no exception. There's nothing wrong with the place itself - and it won a Best Bar None award at the first awards in Brent - but the selection of pensioners killing an afternoon and dole-boys on the lash does put one off a bit. Staff are friendly enough, and cope with the demands as well as they can. Combine the clientele with one of those sink hand-dryer options in the men's loo (you know the sort, they're the ones you find in public toilets that're expecting vandalism), it doesn't bode well for this establishment. All that said, it's still a pretty reasonable option in the Wembley area - though we might give it a miss on Friday or Saturday nights.
