Joiners Arms, Finchley Central
FancyaPint?'s review...
An extremely large, modern pub, it was a little dead last time we were in. There's a massive garden at the back, plus seating on the pavement. Normal pub seating combined with comfy sofas makes it a reasonable place to meet. They serve food most days, there is music, and the usual range of Bass beers. Interestingly, there was a sign up saying that no children are allowed in the pub, due to their insurance. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, is it? One to go to if you can't get in down the road.

Loud and annoying, bordering on the unsociable. Bar service and beer selection less-than-inspiring. This could be an excellent pub, given the right landlord and the removal of some of the corporate trappings; at the moment, it aims low and hits its target.
