Diddley-dee music when we came in (then Lightning Seeds ) didn't exactly set a great scene when we came into this Oirish pub. Sadly it's a cavernous basement pub which teeters between faux-irish implausibility and acceptance, probably leaning more toward the faux side. You do get exactly what it says on the tin - the Guinness is excellent, but then it better be. If you fancy a pint of the black stuff, give it a go.

From South Kensington: Take the Old Brompton Road exit and head down Old Brompton Road. The pub is about five minutes walk down on the right.
