Having only lasted a little over 18 months in its current guise, the King of Denmark has now shut. We suspect the back-street location meant people didn't find it, sticking instead to the Angelic. We heard that by the end there was no real ale anymore and some nights had no customers. Shame.

Really like this place, great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. A proper local amidst all the over-priced gastropubs in the area. Also, excellent Thai food. Highly recommended!
