King William IV Hotel, Greenwich
FancyaPint?'s review...
Another working men's hotel in this area (rooms from 10 per night) and well set up it is to cater for them. It retains a lot of its Victorian origins, but has been brought up to date to cater for the needs of a more contemporary clientele, offering a range of gaming machines, pool tables and the one of the biggest TV (projection) screens we've seen in a pub. The bar is big, so it can cater for a lot of people simultaneously and the service is prompt, with an average rrange of beers on offer. It's not a pub you'd go out of your way to go to, but what it does, it does well.
