A quiet, comfortable pub a short walk away from London Bridge and Borough stations. The King's Arms has Courage Best and Wadworth 6X on tap amongst the other usual lagers. The service is excellent and the clientele a good mixture of locals and people who work nearby. The big TV is there for big sporting occasions, but otherwise tucked well away. The old fashioned decoration with large windows, pictures on the walls and amazing array of brasswork makes for surprisingly stylish and cosy interior and there's a fireplace for winter evenings. Food is typical pub grub and cheap with it (available 12-3pm). Give it a try.
