King's Head, Leicester Square
FancyaPint?'s review...
This pub hasn't changed in years and remains a breath of grotty air in the midst of Chinese Restaurants, trendy bars and boring pubs. It has the same sticky carpet, scratched Formica tables and regulars propping up the bar. The only reason we can think of as to why it's remained unchanged, is the tourists are too intimidated to go in, leaving it a haven for the regulars who work in the area. If you can take the heat, it's worth it for a quiet drink.
