Leinster Terrace has a group of independent shops and restaurants, so it's perhaps not too much of a surprise that the local pub has a similar, free-spirited air. We don't often come across pubs like the Leinster Arms in such touristy parts of town (e.g. here in Bayswater) that have a devoted band of regulars, nor ones that have such reasonably priced food - £5.95 for Sunday lunch here. The Leinster also promotes a selection of pies - that also appear to be very popular - and, although we didn't indulge, we can certainly say the beers hit the spot Pride, Landlord and a guest available on the hand pumps. The Leinster Arms is a jolly decent spot for a couple of jars: the sort of non-showy, dependable boozer you'd love as your local.
