Liberty Bounds, Tower Hill
FancyaPint?'s review...
Another Edwardian commercial property gets converted into a Wetherspoon pub, hardly a newsworthy item nowadays, an almost everyday occurrence in the City it sometimes seems. As ever, there's the range of well-priced well kept, hand pumped beer and the cheap food to accompany it. And, as ever the place is packed with people throwing cheap drink down their necks as if they're going to get their throats cut very soon. All predictable stuff, but at least it gives tourists in the area a chance to sample something approaching the British pub experience without having to sell their offspring into slavery in order to pay for it.

How to find the Liberty Bounds pub
Come out of Tower Hill Tube facing the Tower, turn right and heading up Tower Hill into Trinity Square. In front of you you will see a huge building with a tower pillars etc (familiar to all fans of Bodie and Doyle) and the pubs is to the left of this building, on the corner of the square with Byward Street.
