Well looked after back street local. Friendly staff with the usual Fuller's beers and fairly priced pub grub. It's the sort of place you'd only chance upon if you lived locally but it treats its punters well and has a better atmosphere than the neighbouring pubs. Homely beer garden too. The sort of pleasantly dependable pub you hope to find when you move to a new area.

Great little backstreet pub, friendly locals and well run. Ideal place for those wishing to avoid the high street 'drinking houses' Visit a couple of times and you will be remembered. This is what pubs should be like...pity there are so few now.
