London Apprentice, Isleworth
FancyaPint?'s review...
Almost too picturesque for its own good, this is an ideal pub to take your relations to if they want to see an olde worlde riverside pub. No great surprises behind the bar, but this place could probably sell tap water and still pull in a crowd. It has lashings of "ye olde pubbe" atmosphere, although on our visit the antiquated air of the place wasn't helped by the disco compilation on the CD player. A victim of its own success at weekends, it's probably best to check it out on a weekday (if you fancy the jaunt out to Isleworth).

How to find the London Apprentice pub
Nearest train station is Isleworth. From there best consult the A-Z. Alternatively, from Syon Lane station you can walk through Syon Park to get to the pub that way. If you have the necessary equipment, you can sail to the pub as it's possible to moor your yacht dingy pedallo etc alongside the pub.
