Lord Nelson, Southwark
FancyaPint?'s review...
Although a straightforward locals' pub with no revelations behind the bar, the Lord Nelson does offer pool and darts if you're in the mood for a game. Unusually, the plain brick building housing the pub appears to be an extension of the block of flats behind it; non-devotees of modern architecture should look elsewhere.

This place has changed dramatically since it was last reviewed. Couple of real ales on offer (including Hooky Bitter the last time I was in), new decor that may not be to everyone's taste but is definitely presentable and a pretty good menu that caters for those looking for gastropub fare or those wanting a bog-standard pub-grub style feed. Deserves at least two if not three stars, I reckon.
