Lord Nelson, Greenwich
FancyaPint?'s review...
A great local pub, it's got a pool table, quiz nights, darts and almost anything else you'd care to mention. They do a good range of food, the beer's decent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is one of the places that goes out of its way to make everyone welcome, putting events on for the regulars all the time. Children are welcome before 7:00pm and quiz nights are great fun and very popular. Showing how a local should be run, the Lord Nelson is definitely worth looking out for if you're in the area.

I was visiting from Canada with my twelve year old son and was happy to find him welcome until 7:00PM. The staff was welcoming, the food was good (as was the beer, as far as a Canadian can tell!) and, due to their free wifi hotspot, my son was able to email his school class that he was sitting in a pub in London while they were at their books. We have decided that, whether we emigrate or just visit, this will be our regular pub.
