Popped in for a couple of post Xmas lunch drinks with some clients to be treated disgustingly by the red haired tattooed neck bar lady. She poured a pint (or half beer half head) then ran off to do something else without explaining what was going on. When she returned and completed the order 5 minutes later it was clear that the first pint poured was not right, all murky and when we asked for a replacement, she had her staff member sip it before shoving it back at me saying there is nothing wrong with it. I then said I could not possibly give the pint to its owner as she had now drunk from the glass, so she rudely said that I could have a glass of head and poured yet another half filled pint. The people we were with were disgusted and when the person who this half pint of head was intended went to the bar to have it topped up, he was told that if he didn’t like it that the Wellington was next door. I am not the kind of person to complain, but the shock of being spoken to in such a rude way when we were spending a substantial amount of money with them would make you believe that polite customer service was not too much to expect.
