Mad Hatter Hotel, Blackfriars
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Fuller's Ale and Pie formula, works very nicely here in one of their central London hotels. It's a grand and interesting looking building, complemented inside with Fuller's trademark Ale & Pie wood panel and glass interiors. As you'd expect, the beer is Fuller's own excellent and well-kept range (usually all the regulars, plus seasonal beers), with a decent wine list if you're not in the mood for ale and the now famous Ale & Pie menu, should you be feeling peckish. The service is good - prompt, friendly and attentive and there's plenty of space in which to enjoy your refreshment. It's a popular refuelling stop for tourists and local office workers alike and in a handy location, if you're just south of the River. It's well worth a visit.
