Mannions, Wembley
FancyaPint?'s review...
Mannions is a tiny Irish bar just off the High Road, this is a welcoming, if peculiar, bar. When we were in last, racing was on all the TVs, including racing from somewhere in the Middle East. It has been painted recently, but the odd ornaments on the ceiling - consisting of several ploughs and a couple of old rifles dangling down - still give it a somewhat rural air. The photos on the walls and the awards for shinty give it a homely feel, and the locals are pretty welcoming too. Don't expect real ale in this bar, it's Guinness or lager and maybe cider. Our guess is this gets pretty busy at the usual times, but if you can get in, give it a go.
