A traditional pub just off the High Street and just off the radar of the younger crowd that throng the main street of a weekend. It's a friendly place and offers a pretty decent range of beer on the hand pumps. It's small size (even with the tent out the back in the beer garden) means that the tellies tend to dominate when there's a sporting event on, but the atmosphere is jovial and the beer is good and you can't say fairer than that. It's had a tidy up, but it hasn't really changed the pub. Decent beer, sport on the telly, beer garden out the front to enjoy good weather, what more do you want?

Clapham North: exit tube and turn left, and double back round on to Clapham High Street. Cross the road and head down the high street. Midway down turn right onto Clapham Manor Street. Walk for a few minutes and the pub is on your left. Clapham Common: Take exit for Old Town and The Pavement and head on to Clapham High Street. Turn away from the Goose and Granite pub and head down the high street passing the Sainsbury's. Midway down the high street, turn left onto Clapham Manor Street. Walk for a few minutes and the pub is on your left.
