The colourful exterior belies a traditional pub catering for the older market. The punters here seem an agreeable lot - though the proximity of the toilet door to the dartboard makes you wary of crossing them. The pub also has a Golf Society: we've come to the conclusion such a thing suggests a hostelry with a modicum of civility about it. Food available too.
