Slightly below-average Wetherspoon's boozer, with even less atmosphere than most of their other pubs. If you're looking for a quick pint or a bargain then it's fine, but there are better pubs nearby.

This is the best pub in central Harrow. If it is not to your liking then the others are unlikely to impress. It is rather small. 10 mins on the Metropolitan Line will get you to Ruislip Manor and one of the best Wetherspoons in North London (opposite the station).

Other pubs in Harrow are the Junction in Gayton Road (a student pub); the Trinity Bar; O'Neill's and Yates's (all in Station Road and the Royal Oak (one-time 'Rat and Parrot') in St. Anne's Road. Harrow is a 'dormitory suburb': people work and enjoy themselves elsewhere and come back to Harrow to sleep. At night-time Harrow is a bit dead and alive.

Consistently dirty, a hang-out for alcoholics after cheap booze and seems to be the centre for drug addicts needing a drink to accompany whatever vileness they're imbibing.

The staff know NOTHING of the beers that are served. The range is usually ok on paper, but better sampled elsewhere.

Horrible place where the constant menace hangs over ou like the seord of Damocles.
