We don't like giving 0 pints to pubs, and we appreciate that coming up with a trick that will make a potentially unprofitable suburban barn - and this one is truly vast - work is tough. But still, the Myllet Arms has it badly wrong. In order to attract parents with kids, it has turned itself into part pub, part kids' playpen called 'Wacky Warehouse'.The décor is awful, with vomit inducing puce paint all over, the range of beer is rubbish, kids are warbling all over the place. On the muggy summer's day we were there, the heat was on full blast despite it being 30 degrees outside, which didn't help. It's an interesting idea, but in this case very badly executed. Sorry.
